An important question that Democrats should ask themselves—and that Republicans need to ask, too, for that matter—From what source do you derive your sense of Party priorities and intentions? Do you listen a lot of Democrat-orientated media, like CNN and MSNBC? Do you read Democrat-orientated newspapers like the New York Times or the Washington Post?  And finally, do you check in a lot with Facebook bloggers.

Considering the totality of blogger verbiage, I can only see a wish to topple the United States—one of the greatest and most free nations in the World. To justify their intentions, the bloggers hammer on the same issues with childish simple-mindedness. Really, if you give a child a hammer, he will break everything in sight.

The bloggers justify this approach by insisting that the images only represent "memes". The Oxford Dictionary describes a meme as "typically humorous in nature". What does that mean? Do not take these images seriously? Are they only for laughs? If they are, then what are we supposed to believe about memes as a political forum? The muppets don't speak like gibbering children. The mother and daughter do not talk in bourgeois platitudes.

Humorous or not, the bloggers hammer on the same issues relentlessly:

  1. Capitalism exploits the poor, minorities, and single-moms.
  2. Law-enforcement agencies practice racism, fascism, and brutality on a regular basis.
  3. The political elite aid and abet each other's corruption and criminality.
  4. Possession of great wealth by a few produces a criminal level of inequality and injustice.
  5.  American society must therefore undergo drastic restructuring.

And so on, and so on, and the only way to resolve it is to clean house—to lock up the wrong-doers and seize their wealth. Again, I emphasize the bloggers' negativity and the dampening effect it has on Democrats' perception of the future, since many Democrats also possess wealth. Worst of all is that, each time I read their posts, I want to ask, "What is your plan? Okay, depose the wealthy, take away their wealth and give it to the poor. Then what? How do you rebuild America? Tell us what you plan to do in the aftermath?"

I pose this question each time I read the bloggers' posts. They go on and on about tearing down the fascist "Murica", but say almost nothing about what they will build in its place. When I tell them to provide us with details, they invariably respond by calling me a "simp", "bootlicker", "boomer", or a worse term: "If you are really with us, believe and quit asking so many damned questions!"

Mostly I want to ask "Can you govern a country? Can you provide a decent living for your people? Can you give us a sense of the ways and means?" I only mean that—now that Donald Trump has become President again—maybe left-wing Americans will consider more seriously an exit plan—not escaping to another country but creating their own country, so that they can live independently of Trump's intentions towards them. I mentioned this to Republicans after Biden's triumph in 2020 and received only irritated consternation.

Shouldn't Democrats consider creating their own country? If they do that, then they could co-exist with the racist, sexist country next door, without having to worry about it affecting them. Each of the two new nations could dwell in peace in separate realms. Instead of persisting in trash-talking each other over political divisions, their biggest rivalry would involve professional sports teams. Co-exist over sports, not politics.
